Core Principles for Contributors
Important Notice:
Kimpa Vita Press & Publishers (KVPP) does not accept sponsored or paid submissions from advertisers or businesses not aligned with our values and editorial policies. Only submissions adhering to the guidelines below will be considered for publication; however, this does not guarantee acceptance.
Please note that KVPP does not update or modify links in archived articles. Due to the volume of email requests, any such requests are marked as Spam. We also request that contributors submit only the final version of their articles, as we do not provide post-submission revisions. If modifications are required, the updated submission will be considered the following week.

Guidelines for Submissions
- Format & Structure
- Submit articles in Word (.doc) format.
- Length: Approximately 4 pages.
- Spacing: Single-spaced, with double spaces between paragraphs.
- Alignment: Left-aligned, font size 14.
- Content Style: Plain text only – no images, graphs, or formatting.
- References: No footnotes or endnotes.
- Author Byline: Include a short biography at the end of your submission.
- Editorial Standards
- Submissions are reviewed for clarity, grammar, and relevance. The editorial team may make necessary edits but reserves the right to publish based on content alignment with KVPP’s mission.
- Articles should reflect KVPP’s focus on development, socio-political transformation, art, healing and peace journalism.
- Publication Schedule
- New materials are posted every Monday at 12:00 PM (GMT). After a week, pieces are archived.
- For poetry submissions, the same guidelines apply.
- Final Version Policy
- Only submit the final version of your piece. Updated versions should be resubmitted for consideration in the following publication cycle.
